The characters were too naive to be believable - even my most puritanical Christian friends knew the basics of make-up and boys, even if it was only secondhand knowledge from school or books or television.

Ultimately, it tied wonderfully into the plot without overwhelming with it. Other books in the series.

Little did I know what I would be getting myself into But I adored her as a character, and even more than I did in the first book.

Rise (Salvaged, #2) by Stefne Miller

In aalvaged ways he was part of Attie's healing, but I still hurt for him. The pros and the cons, the motivations of the heart, the need to consider how each choice we make will not only influence our lives, but others around us was well done.

My biggest complaint is about the-jeans-and-t-shirt-wearing Jesus, who physically visits Attie. And don't even get me started on the other characters. The characters are well developed, and I you will enjoyed how they connected with each other as the story develops.

My neighbor told me about these books last year and I could beat myself for waiting so long to read them! I think that's amazing. Attie Reed's life changed the moment that her mother and best friend were killed.

The Salvaged Series (Books 1 and 2)

All the stuff happening, the breaking points, finding out who your real friends are. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Lets just say I am a Believer with a bit of a raw edge at times. Thanks Stefne for an incredible book that will impact thousands of young lives. I know this sounds really odd to put in a review, but I love books that can become a part of my life, in a bigger way than merely a book to read and absolutely love.

The characters in this story were wonderful. But like, no two teenage characters are ever going to act like they did. So while I loved the messages that were coming across, I thought the delivery was a little too excessive and in your face. She currently lives in Edmond, OK, with her husband of twenty-two years, and their three teenaged sons.
